"This Egyptian ship was typically used during the reign of King Sahure and transported cedar wood and ebony from Lebanon to Egypt. Shipbuilders of the time did not use pegs (treenails) but relied on ropes to keep their ships afloat. Keel, frames and deck were firmly connected. The kit contains: Pre-cut keel and frames Seas, launched in 1637, and the Prince, launched in 1670. The kit is updated with the latest historical information. The construction of this model requires 200 to 250 working hours. The full-colour instructions help the modeller through all the building steps and lead him on an exciting adventure. Kit includes: 20 sheets of building plan, 96 pages of colour building instructions with step-by-step instructions, laser-cut plywood, hardwood and MDF, double planked hull, highly detailed photo-etched brass parts, valuable paper decorations, brass nozzles and burnished cast metal guns.
