Plastic model kit of a British WWII fighter aircraft. A thoroughbred of aviation, the Supermarine Spitfire was constantly developed during the Second World War and new versions of the fighter were never far from being included in RAF squadrons. The aircraft, which saw action in the Battle of Britain, were to be significantly improved, but even as they were being developed, the Luftwaffe introduced its latest variant of the Bf 109, which shot down Spitfires in large numbers - urgent action was needed. The Spitfire Mk.V was basically an improved Mk.II cell fitted with the latest version of the Merlin engine, which gave the aircraft greater altitude performance, and this variant would eventually equip more than 140 RAF squadrons. 73 parts, length built 142.5 mm / width 173.6 mm / height 68.1 mm.
