Plastic model kit of a 1950s US fighter jet. As the RAF already had Phantoms in service at Leuchars Air Base in Fife, originally intended for the Royal Navy, the withdrawal of HMS Ark Royal in 1978 meant that it also inherited the rest of the Fleet Air Arm's Phantom fleet. Squadrons 43 and 111 used the Phantom FG.1 to defend British airspace until 1989, when they both upgraded to the BAe Tornado F.3. 161 parts, length built 247 mm / width 162 mm / height 68.1 mm.
