All about houses, people and animals! Traditional one-roof house in a half-timbered construction with shingle roofing, as is still found today in many villages between the Black Forest and Allgäu. The small farmhouse with the large barn door accommodates residents, animals, feedstuffs – and innumerable details under one roof. Rabbit hutch and rung chicken ladder, which are grouped around the walled base with a cellar trapdoor, an addition on the side and a baking house, which is fuelled by the kitchen, as well as all types of farm equipment. A field-side cross invites a moment of reflection.
