In 1958, Daimler Benz presented a new, modern truck with a short hood to the experts. The new six-tonner goes by the type designation L322 and was built until 1984. The round-bonnet, which is considered indestructible, is in use around the globe and is still an integral part of the roads in South America and Africa today. Many former government vehicles now have a second life as a motorhome.
