"LEGRAND 1:87 plastic model set, very detailed design and printing, filigree rims, length: 79mm This spectacular van was built in 1955 at the request of the successful racing director Alfred Neubauer, on the extended chassis of a Mercedes-Benz 300 S and with the engine of the 300 SL. For many years, it was the ""fastest truck in the world"" and was used exclusively to transport Mercedes-Benz racing cars. From 1956, the racing transporter served as an exhibition vehicle and eye-catcher in the USA and was later scrapped. A perfect replica is now in the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart."
