Electric locomotive BR 189 DB Cargo, Ep.VI, 2.Nr., without logo, Sunand

The ES64F4 electric locomotive is a locomotive platform from Siemens and belongs to the EuroSprinter family. In Germany, it is mainly used by Deutsche Bahn as Class 189, but private railways and vehicle rental companies also rely on the four-axle electric locomotive. Some DB Cargo machines were equipped with automatic couplings (recognizable by the yellow corners on the side of the buffer beam) for use in front of the ore trains between Germany and the Netherlands.
