From mid-2002, SBB Cargo put a series of Taggnpps 31 grain silo wagons into operation. Originally, the wagons were intended exclusively for the transport of sugar and were provided with appropriate side advertisements. The raw material for one of Switzerland's most important products is mainly supplied by rail, which is why the wagons are now increasingly used to transport cocoa from Amsterdam to Switzerland. The eye-catching stainless steel cars usually run as block trains and then offer an imposing appearance.
