1/160 Lighthouse with Diorama Base

Plastic model kit of a lighthouse, easy to build. When people began to sail the seas, they needed orientation in the dark of night or in foggy weather. It was difficult enough to navigate around rocky coasts in daylight. Originally, people lit campfires to warn approaching ships of dangerous coastlines or to mark the entrance to harbours. Later, people began to build small stone towers on top of which they lit a fire. Lighthouses have become a symbol of safety and stability and are now a common sight on coasts around the world. Includes base with pilot house, dinghy and wreck. Light functional, requires 2x CR2032 (not included).
