Car System LASER-STREET

It was never so easy to build animated streets. Laser-Street offers pre-finished street elements that can be simply interlocked and allow the street to take nearly any direction - even curves, passing places, junctions, bypasses and access roads and exits.
FALLER-LASERCUT – MORE VERSATILITY AND DETAILS

FALLER expands its production and product range

New impulses for model construction: FALLER perfected laser technology for itself. For the first time, natural materials of wood and special cardboard can now be combined with the tried and tested plastic parts. FALLER-Lasercut supplements its established manufacturing technologies with the fascination of material mix as of now.

The power of bundled light is enormous and meanwhile an essential part of industrial production. With laser technology steel sheets can be cut at high precision, welded, and put together to ships or vehicles - in a large or small scale. Lasers are also adequate for fine labelling, marking, structuring, and colouring different materials. Especially these special applications are now also available for model making, and provide new perspectives.
Using a laser beam of less than 0.1 millimetre to cut highly precise small parts from different materials sounds easy. But the adjustment of the process parameters is a complex task and varies with each type of material, the thickness of the material and the desired effect. Cutting demands other settings than the structurization of surfaces. Thus, the cut edges must be absolutely smooth, and may not deform or discolour through selective heat. After all, the new technology shall also meet the high quality standards you expect of FALLER.
Thus, the new FALLER models produced with lasercut technology shine with a very high adequacy of fit of all parts that are very rigid and stable in form in addition. The material mix of coloured plastic, wood, and special cardboard parts enables the construction of filigree and realistic models.
This is followed by coloured, patinated and structured covering elements made of plastic, special cardboard, or wood materials. Finest structures are then engraved into these covering layers with a laser – for example joints, material structures, or ornaments. On brick buildings, frame construction with exact mitre cuts provides safe building. The laser technology also facilitates and optimises the FALLER Car System with the new, pre-processed Laser-Street-Elements.

FALLER-Lasercut models convince with the authentic material mix, the high detail accuracy, the filigree structures, and the secure composition.
